Our Story

Exeter Snooker Club has been part of Exeter’s social and snooker scene for many years, providing a welcoming space for players, friends, and local leagues right in the heart of the city.

Originally operating across both floors of the building, the club combined a traditional snooker venue upstairs with a busy pub downstairs. Over time, the venue evolved to meet changing needs, and the downstairs bar was transformed into One Guinea Street — a versatile events space available to hire for parties, functions, celebrations, live entertainment, and private events.

Today, Exeter Snooker Club is fully based upstairs, where the focus remains on great cue sports and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The club features five full-size snooker tables, two pool tables, free-to-play darts, TNT Sports coverage, and a rooftop terrace — giving members and visitors plenty of space to play, watch live sport, and socialise.

Whether you are here for a competitive frame, a few games with friends, watching the latest live sport, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of one of Exeter’s long-standing independent clubs, Exeter Snooker Club continues to offer a genuine community feel at One Guinea Street.
